Your change can go a long way in supporting a national charity as The Foundry Shopping Centre launches its Easter Wishing Well appeal.

The Foundry will be raising vital funds throughout Easter for the ‘Child Victims Of Crime’ organisation (CVOC) – a charity committed to supporting children whose lives have been affected by crime.

The charity provide material support for any child up to and including the age of 16 years who has been a victim of, or traumatised by any criminal offence committed in the UK.

“Our annual wishing well appeal is always very successful, “ said Foundry Shopping Centre Manager, Peter Golightly.

“It’s surprising how somebody’s loose change can make such a difference, last year our two appeals raised more than £450 for Lincolnshire Air ambulance and £230 for WWF.

The Wishing Well will be along side our Easter display from Tuesday 7 April 2009 to Saturday 18 April 2009.

Staff at the shopping centre will also be distributing ‘Tackle Safety’ leaflets supplied by the ‘Child Victims Of Crime’ (CVOC) charity on Saturday 11th April 2009.

“We are delighted that The Foundry Shopping Centre have chosen to support our organisation,” said Manager of CVOC, Dominic Chambers.

“There are many ways in which your money can help us to continue to mend broken lives and start putting the pieces back together.”

If you have any loose change you would like to donate to CVOC visit The Foundry Shopping Centre over Easter and give generously to the wishing well appeal.
