Top quality garden care products in premium packaging but with lower prices than other, highly advertised, brands have been launched to meet the continuing economically challenging times.

More than 50 products, including six new ones, will be unveiled at GLEE by Doff Portland who are already the UK’s largest independent producer of domestic garden care and control products for own label customers and under its own brand.

Peter Woolley, Doff’s Sales and Marketing Director, says: “A combination of top quality products in modern, attractive packaging but offering a significant price discount is a powerful consumer offer. In many areas the differential will be up to 25% and that is going to be highly attractive to gardeners, particularly as the impact of the national spending review is continuing to bite.”

The Nottinghamshire based company achieves this price advantage through efficient manufacturing and by maintaining low overheads. “Our products are at the premium end of the market and despite the new 2012 range being competitively priced, we never compromise on quality,” adds Peter.

The six new products include Tomato Pour & Feed, Multipurpose Pour & Feed, Cat Repellent Gel, Copper Slug Tape and Soluble Plant Food.

The full 2012 Doff product range includes pest control, garden and household care, weedkillers, lawn care, liquid feeds, traditional fertilisers and a range of organic and eco-friendly products.
