Hundreds of children accompanied by their parents turned up to The Prospect Shopping Centre at the weekend to enjoy a free action packed family fun day.
The event, at The Prospect Shopping Centre had everything from balloon modelling, face painting and supervised craft sessions to keep its hundreds of visitors happy.
Prospect Shopping Centre Manager, Amanda Austin said: “The event was fantastic and certainly attracted the crowds! There was something for everyone, and it helped showcase the new Prospect Shopping Centre campaign to the wider community!”
The day also saw the launch of the shopping centre’s new mascot ‘Buzzy Bee’ and shoppers were able to have their photograph taken using the innovative bee themed picture board, offering shoppers the opportunity to receive a FREE keyring.
The Shopping Centre gave away more than 250 keyrings during action packed day and raised more than £100 for local Hull charity Age Concern.
Shoppers were also given the opportunity to name the new Buzzy Bee in a competition aimed at finding the best name – more than 200 names were suggested!
The launch coincided with the unveiling of new bee themed branding in-centre and on the outer entrances to the centre, showcasing a wide range of signage and a stunning XXX sf ft piece of art at the West Street entrance.
The event took place on Saturday, April 4th.
