Resolva 24H will be hitting the small screen this month as it showcases as the first choice for effective weed control.
Westland Horticulture’s revolutionary Resolva 24H will be shown on prime time television between award-winning programmes including ITV’s Emmerdale, Channel 4’s The Secret Millionaire and America’s highly acclaimed crime-drama ‘The Mentalist’ on Five.
The commercial, which runs from April 8th to May 31st, demonstrates to terrestrial and digital viewers how weeds will never pop up again due to the unique mix of diquat and glyphosate.
It clearly shows how the easy to use Resolva 24H delivers visible results in only 24 hours and because it kills both the roots and the leaves the weed won’t come back.
Incorporating humour using cheeky weed characters, not only gives the brand an identity, but also engages the viewers with Resolva 24H, encouraging them to seek out the product.
Naomi Jenkins, product manager for Resolva 24H, said, “The advertising campaign has been targeted at a prime time audience to reinforce Resolva 24H’s position as one of the leading weed controls on the market.
“We are extremely excited to see the cheeky characters back on the screen, last year viewers really engaged with them, which resulted in Resolva 24H becoming one of the best performing weedkiller products of the year. Early indications show that this is set to continue this year, with sales of Resolva 24H already exceeding expectations.
“To reinforce this position even further and by giving the consumer even more choice within the brand we have introduced the 1 litre concentrate, a convenient twin pack of two 105ml bottles of concentrate, and a 10-litre premium pressure sprayer for the serious gardener.”
During 2008, Resolva 24H was the best selling ready-to-use in garden centres, accounting for more than 25%* of the share. Westland is confident that this campaign will continue to increase Resolva 24H’s share of the market and will encourage more gardeners to go out and combat weeds forever.
