The new Plant Rescue range from Westland will provide a ‘one stop shop’ for garden pest control. The range provides a solution for a wide spectrum of pest and disease problems on many different plants from ornamentals through to a large selection of fruit and vegetables, giving consumers the confidence that they have the best solution to ensure the health of their plants.
Consumers will no longer be in the dark, or have to second guess what pest is afflicting their plant, as 2010 will provide the answer. All they will have to do is send a text or upload an image via the web to Plant Rescue from Westland Horticulture and they will identify the villain - and the solution.
The new Plant Rescue First Aid for Plants programme takes problem solving online. Consumers will be able to simply send a picture of the pest or disease by text or, by uploading a photograph via a special web form, and the Westland experts will identify the problem and promptly send details about how to control it and where to buy the products from. This is a true first.
Getting Tough With Slugs And Snails
A new product that will definitely stand out is ERAZA, a high performance slug pellet with low active technology. Specialist manufacturing techniques means that the Metaldehyde in ERAZA Slug and Snail Killer is FIVE TIMES more effective. Each pellet contains many smaller particles of Metaldehyde, which not only make it easier for slugs and snails to consume, but also ensures efficacy with low active ingredient. A unique coating on each particle makes it long lasting too.
