A registered charity focussed on improving the environmental quality of these two important rivers flowing through Wales and the Welsh Marches.
Over recent years the Foundation has spent considerable sums of money improving the quality of the rivers to enable migrating fish, particularly salmon, to return and spawn. The whole bio diversity of the river – other fish, mammals, insects and riverside plants and flowers all benefit from this work. We work closely with the management in an honorary capacity, advising them on various aspects of publicity and media relations.
